Experiencing God: A Church-Wide Journey Begins January 2026

I am thrilled to invite you to join the entire Hope Chapel North Shore ‘ohana for a life-changing spiritual journey called Experiencing God. More than a sermon series, this is a church-wide movement—a season of intentionally learning to recognize where God is at work around us and how He invites us to join Him.

Decades ago, this study deeply shaped believers and churches across our Island, creating a culture of expectancy for how God might move in everyday lives and ordinary circumstances. Recently, Nicole and I worked through the “Experiencing God” workbook together, and it profoundly transformed the way we see God’s presence and respond to His leading.

Now, we sense God inviting our whole church family to lean in together and experience Him afresh.

What to Expect Over the 10-Week Experience

For the next ten weeks, Hope Chapel North Shore will journey through this study side by side. Here’s how it works:

Daily Study

Each participant will engage with five days of guided personal study each week, helping you look for God's activity, hear His voice, and respond to His leading.

Small Group Discussion

Your life group/‘ohana group will have the option to meet weekly for conversation, reflection, and encouragement. These gatherings will be an important space to share what God is stirring in your heart.

Weekly Sermons

Every Saturday service will focus on the same themes covered in your study that week, helping our entire church family move forward together in unity and purpose.

Kickoff Celebration — January 10, 2026

We will officially launch Experiencing God on Saturday, January 10, 2026 with a meal and a special focus on our new and existing ‘ohana groups. We can’t wait to celebrate what God is going to do as we begin this journey together!

The official Experiencing God study guide typically costs more than $20, but because we want everyone to participate, we are offering it for a subsidized cost of just $10 per person for those joining a life group.

Please make sure to pick up your book before the end of 2025 so we can begin the new year ready and equipped. This is also a great time to consider joining a life group—or even starting a new one.
